This policy describes how CDX Auction (part of the SpotPro / Coin Dealer X network) handles information when you use cdxauction.com and related services.

1. Information we collect

Account data — email, display name, password hash, optional phone and shipping address
Auction activity — bids, wins, watchlist, favorites, feedback, invoices
Technical data — IP address, browser user agent (e.g. on bids), cookies for login sessions
Payment references — method and confirmation notes you report; card processing is handled by the seller’s processor (Authorize.Net, CARDZ3N, PayPal), not stored as full card numbers on CDX Auction

2. How we use information

Operate auctions, accounts, and invoices
Send transactional email (verify account, outbid, ending soon, won, payment/shipping updates)
Share shipping and win details with the selling dealer so they can fulfill
Prevent fraud and enforce Terms

3. Sharing

We share necessary order/win data with the SpotPro seller of a lot you win. We use email infrastructure (e.g. SMTP providers) to deliver messages. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie (cdxauction_sess) to keep you logged in. You can clear cookies in your browser; you will need to log in again.

5. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Access to production systems is limited. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
